Access from the driveway to the terrace of this home in Old Greenwich was a challenge due to limited space. Constructing the steps to look inviting rather than daunting was our goal. This was achieved through flights of stairs, and multi-level, terraced walls. Note the built-in lighting to illuminate the wall and steps after dark.

The front entry steps at this home in North Stamford were falling down. We rebuilt the old cement steps, replacing them with rock faced bluestone treads and fieldstone risers. These steps are built to last and add significantly to the curb appeal of this home.
The sophisticated and clean lines of this outdoor terrace were a collaboration with our client in Katonah, NY. The fieldstone walls and rock face bluestone coping are attractive and functional. The rock face finish of the step treads ties in with the sitting wall coping. Not the semi-circular tread of the step leading into the terrace from the lawn.

This client in Darien wanted an informal yet elegant outdoor terrace off the back of the residence. We created that effect utilizing irregular shaped fieldstone in earth tones. The steps from the family room were constructed with matching rock-face, fieldstone treads.
