Retaining Walls
Retaining walls are for properties where there is a change in grade. In order to make the best use of one’s property, a retaining wall may be needed. From relatively low walls, to monumental ones, they must be constructed properly for longevity and safety. This is something that we take very seriously. Our retaining walls are built to last…and they are beautiful to behold.
This massive 24’ high, 100’ fieldstone retaining wall was constructed for a client in North Stamford, CT. The style and color compliment the contemporary style of the residence.

On a steeply graded site in Chappaqua, NY, we designed and built a cozy bluestone terrace with 4” patio drains and a 36” stainless steel grill nestled into the hillside retaining walls.
At this residence in New Canaan, CT, the homeowner was desperate for additional parking. The property was significantly sloped which made the site especially challenging. We were able to add two additional parking spaces by carving out and building a fieldstone retaining wall along the existing driveway.

A long-time client wanted to add a tennis court to their property in Stamford, CT and asked us to incorporate it into the existing landscape which included ontinuation of an existing stone wall (our previous work).
Additional retaining walls, and extensive drainage were part of the same project.
